Photography Copyright:

As of November 7, 2012, the Copyright Act in Canada grants ownership of the copyright to professional freelance photographers for work created in the course of their employment. This means that, by default, the copyright of the images produced by Sean Harrison / Teczr Media belongs to us. This includes photographs commissioned and paid for by clients, as well as photographs taken for non-commercial purposes.

No Need for Additional Agreements:

It's important to note that under the Copyright Act, we are the default first owners of the copyright for the images we produce. Therefore, there is no need for clients to sign additional agreements stating copyright ownership; it is guaranteed by law.
